WHO IS ANUBIS ?

Anubis is the Egyptian god of embalming, the afterlife, and cemeteries. In mythology, he is often depicted as a jackal or a man with the head of a jackal, usually wearing a jackal-headed mask. He was also associated with funerals and mummification.

Anubis tattoo meaning: A tattoo of Anubis can represent a number of different things. For one thing, it can be used to symbolize death and rebirth—after all, it's not too far off from the cycle of life and death to suggest that Anubis himself represents those two things. Another possible meaning is that it can symbolize protection against evil forces.

Anubis tattoos are also popular among fans of Egyptian mythology in general because they're easy to incorporate into designs that feature other Egyptian gods or goddesses. They're also popular among people who enjoy being part of something secretive (like an initiatory society), because they generally only show up in small doses on other people's bodies as part of larger tattoos—and no one really knows what they mean!
